Children today are still coming into contact with carcinogenic chemicals that were eliminated by law from their pajamas 30 years ago. 80% of baby mattresses, high chairs, and car seats (among many other baby products still on the market today) were found to contain flame-retardant chemicals that were long ago deemed too dangerous, according to research published last week in Environmental Science & Technology.
